Our Story

From humble hot dog cart beginnings, to now.

In the summer of 2024, Putnam & Co.’s founder, Troy Putnam, began operating a small hot dog cart in his hometown of Claremont, NH. What began as a fun way to make extra money to pay the bills, quickly became the seed of a much larger dream. His goal was to provide a fun, inexpensive option for families to eat out without breaking the bank.

The next year, our food truck was finished and ready to hit the streets! Serving up classic diner-style burgers, hand-cut french fries, malt milkshakes and more, the truck was a screaming success.

In the fall of 2025, we took a leap of faith and began working on our first brick and mortar location in downtown Claremont, NH. Since then, we’ve always had the same mission. Great food, made fresh to order. Taking care of our amazing team. Providing value and affordability to our customers. And of course, supporting our local community.
